It worked last time...

Last time I posted a pict of Kaylie outside in the backyard, we had a ton of visitors find there way down to visit us ( more about that below)... any excuse to get out of the cold Utah spring I guess. So here goes agian.
We were eating ice cream cones outside the other day, and I decided Kaylie is almost a year, and it was hot, so I let her try ice cream for the first time. She thought it was funny how we used our toungues to get the ice cream off the cones, and even more funny how toby used his tongue to get the ice cream off her.
Also, these pictures may already be disgusting to some readers... I am letting a dog lick my baby on the mouth. That being the case, I want to point out that my child is wearing a diaper, it just doesn't appear that way, from the angle of the camera.
I am not completly without hygenic standards.

March Madness!

I don't follow basketball closely so I will not be posting about the real march madness, that is just what we have been calling it around here lately. This month has been and will continue to be crazy busy. Every day but three this month we have either had a visitor, or been visiting. I usually give Jeff a hard time when he posts things, becuase they are tooo long, but this is pretty long too...sorry!

The madness started when Johnny came down for a tour of phoenix....of course it involved golfing.
Then just the girls headed to Utah to visit the Freemans and the new babe and also spend time with my parents.

Ali was nice enough to drive back to AZ with me, and boy the drvie went a lot faster having someone besides an 11 month old to talk to....she stayed the week to play.

Jeff's parents came down to visit, enjoy the sunshine, and tell Kaylie happy b-day, early.
And the madness only continues...we are leaving tomorrow to have a getaway vacation with some Lehi friends....more to come later. Busy, but fun!

WHAT A FABULOUS DAY!!!

Where do I start??? I flew in from frigid Green Bay, Wisconsin late Friday night and what a change from one night to the next. Our Saturday was one of the best since moving to Arizona. Since our pool is not heated, we have had to wait for the water to warm up and we finally enjoyed the pool for the first time!!! Below are a few of the pictures from our day in the sun!

Hey Daddy! Let me into the backyard!!! Kaylie is as mobile as ever. She hasn't exactly got the walking thing down, but she can go wherever she wants as long as there is something to hold onto.

The next part of our morning involved a little golf lesson on our little putting green in the backyard! I'm not sure if she does this just to make her daddy happy, but she absolutely loves the little putting green in the back. She has already learned that the ball is supposed to go in the hole!

As soon as Kaylie is able to walk on her own, I guarantee that she will have her own set of plastic golf clubs to play around outside with!!!

Mommy! Let me in!!! The one thing that we know for sure is that Kaylie is in love with the water! She would spend all day splashing and playing if we let her. Even before she gets her swimsuit on, all she wants is to be in the water.

Speaking of loving the water. The funniest thing happened! We were in the pool and Toby (our beagle) was barking like crazy because we were in the pool and he wasn't. Well, next thing we know, we hear a splash and here he comes. He found a floatie and jumped right on. Also, the picture of the splash is me jumping into the pool. Since I'm in the middle of a "Biggest Loser" competition and I don't want to show how far I've come, this is the only picture I'm revealing at this time (more out of embarrassment than anything)!

WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY!!!
